Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Qualified for 11 years and have worked on inpatient settings and within the local Crisis teams before coming into this new role.
As a qualified MH nurse, I have a wide range of knowledge and experience across the range of MH conditions and illness’.
I am happy to see patients with day to day general and non-complex MH difficulties and stressors to complex, severe and enduring MH difficulties.
I am able to triage / assess presentations, signpost and advise on care planning needs, prescribe where appropriate and liaise with external services and resources when required.
It is not often a requirement to see a GP for MH needs, therefore being booked in with me is a more appropriate option.
